About

I am educated in the spirit of classical figurative drawing and painting. Currently my works are developing in a totally different direction. In my newest works I use mostly sequins with embroidering, gold and torn paper.Although without a certain image the depiction is recognizable, despite the material that I have used. My works are a mixture of sarcasm and kitsch, which bare basic environment for the existence of the image.
To me, the paradox about kitsch is that it is a cruel representation of the modern world. At first glance it may seem cheap or tasteless, but that cheap luster is hiding the truth of the transience, the mortality of modern society and the rising of a new system. Kitsch represents the structure in which modern man must exist.
